I love this as a tag on. In one sense it acknowlegdes that it's basically the same 3 chords as the base of both songs and also gives tribute to another great song.

That's because nothing in todays culture (musical) is unique. Most things have to be borrowed and manipulated from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The 90s and forward produced SOME good things, but most of it was not as good as the previous decades. That goes for movies as well. Too many sequals and remakes today because we're turning into what the movie "IDIOCRACY" predicted. Bunch of no brained, perverted people.
