Have spent the last three weeks reading all six books in english; awesome. Start at he beginning with redbreast and just enjoy the best series of books I've read, loved Stig Larrson but these are better!!

@corsonrj I agree. Jo's books have a bit of humour and it's not so emotionally heavy has the Steig's books. Don't get me wrong I loved the series but prefer Jo's work.

Nesbo is fucking awsome! Read 4 of his novels, the snowman's the best so far. Like it better than The Leopard.

@Someoneinwonderland Yes! all books are good, but I liked the snowman the best, of course, i couldn't read the first two coz there's no english translation and I don't know norwegian. Now I'm reading The Devil's Star. No surprise it's good :)

@Someoneinwonderland I didn't read them chronologically either. I started with the Snowman, then The Leopard, then The Redbreast, then Nemesis and now I'm reading The Devil's Star... seems pretty promising :) Harry's such a punk in this one ahahaha. The english editions start with the Redbreast, so... and I don't know German either unfortunately :(

haha I started with the devil's star, then the leopard, the snowman, redbreast, the redeemer and tonight I just finished nemesis. Fucking awesome plot! But the snowman remains my favourite so far. I have the first book at home, so I think I will start to read it tomorrow :)

Harry is absolutely great! Always. I totally love him :D

Will it be translated into english sometime? In almost every book, the serial killer case in australia ( = the first book) is mentioned --> quite important?

this book is so gross(but of cource brilliant), and the movie even worse! but I imagined a little more light environment, like the norwegian norm, not a sad english movie with dark colours
