such a beautiful piece of music :) it sounds familiar i dont know where i ve heard it , its like an epic scandinavian theme song or something like that
@TheWildWitch Well, Scandinavia consists of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and as Amorphis is a Finnish band, it's really not Scandinavian music... :) And the term "Scandinavian" refers to the North Germanic peoples who speak Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Icelandic). Finland is, however, part of Scandinavian Peninsula, which is a geographical term.
I just wanted to clear that up. Sorry for the besserwisserism. :)
@DeathOfJune in total i meant it sound like an old folk song ! & i said it reminds me of a scandinavian theme song i ve heard from somewhere ! i know where they are from and i kinda know geography , but hey thanks !
@DeathOfJune Yeah. I know, it's funny really because the scandinavian mountain line doesn't reach to Denmark, but it begins from Norway-Sweden-Finland crossing. It's funny that Denmark, which doesn't geographically belong so strongly to scandinavia (it belongs to scandinavia, yes, but more to central europe), is counted in, but Finland that actually geographically belongs to scandinavia, doesn't count :(
But we all are culturally scandinavia so i guess it doesn't matter.
@GreedAndSelfishness you think finns spawned from ural mountains? part of east finns came all the way from china, korea and northern siberia. another part came from various areas of europe. the dominant haplogroup of Finns, the haplogroup N, can be found from northern siberia, china, mongolia, korea and even japan.
