Im in first year ( scottish 12 year old ) of highschool. The Gideons came to our school and we got given out the Gideons Testament named "New Testament & Psalms" I Didnt really believe in god until they came to school today. I Just dont know where to start reading i was hoping you could help please ?

Make sure Matthew chapter 7 verse 14 does not use the word "difficult" if it does, throw it away. It should use the phrase "strait and narrow" (that's where society get's that phrase, by the way) Also, please follow along with the readings on our other YouTube channel called FamilyBibleTime

I always thought that they were KJV only, but I guess with an organization that large, those things are bound to happen. I'm glad to see that those pocket Testaments have the Psalms and Proverbs included. Thanks for giving out the Word!
Yes, I'd say it did. God had been dealing with me about this ministry for months. I ran into the local Gideon camp passing out Bibles at our county fair. They offered me a BIble and I realized that this was the first time anyone had offered me a Bible outside of church. God spoke to my heart and told me to become a part of this ministry. I watched several of your videos and the one that touched me the most was the personal testimony videos. I'd like to email each other or Facebook.

Has the practice of putting the bibles in the hotel rooms illegal in some states? I haven't seen one in a very long time here in CA. Or, maybe I haven't looked closely enough.
Thank you for your comment. Nope, not illegal in any state. Sometimes you may have to look a little bit as different Hotel's sometimes use different drawers than others. If ever you do see one is missing you can look in the local phone book for a Gideon phone number and let the local Gideon fellow know. That would be much appreciated. Thank you!
That's a good idea! Although it's really quite as simple as looking in your local phone book for Gideon's International, contacting them (It will be a local camp member) and asking them if you can. That's it! We constantly pray for new laborers. If anyone can't find the name of a local camp in their phone directory I can help. JUST MESSAGE ME, please.

I love you Gideons. Everytime I stay in a hotel room and see one of the Gideon Bibles in there I pray for you guys. I love what you do, I love your passion, and I love all the testimonies of people that have come to christ because a NT was handed to them by a Gideon.
Thank you, again, for your comment. God is calling out Christians (those who have confessed Jesus as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead) to warn unbelievers of His soon coming judgment. That judgment is NOW upon us and we need to give out the gospel (good news) of Christ (His resurrection and promise of eternal life) to all with whom we come in contact! TIME is passing!
A Gideon recently came to our private christian church/school and gave out some New Testaments. I never really thought it was a relgion though lol. I just figured he was christian trying to distribute out God's word :)
