Dispite FLCL craziness, fanservice, out-of-model animation..... It did the one thing in anime that I always Love: .......IT HAD A FULFILLING ENDING! Think about it. There is rarely an anime I've seen that seems to have an anti-climatic or rushed ending. Even Death Note, my most beloved anime, is guilty of this. Most animes end terribly, while the manga does it much better. FLCL knew what they were doing. Just end on that highnote.

Well, it was an OVA, not a regular series. Think of it as more of a movie separated into episodes than a series. It wasn't discontinued; they finished it.
