@justtakeiteasy I'm not standing up for colonisation, I agree it's spawned many cultural conflicts that exist today (e.g. India/Pakistan), Mountbatten did his best to fix that.

But you're just nasty and bigoted. You're holding SashaWolf responsible for what his forefathers may have done. As you say British Imperialism is the source of much of the problem, so accept that it's the source of problem with Aborigines. If you're ethnically English, your forefathers killed Australian Aborigines too.

And "some" Australians are racist, not all, not most. Don't make sweeping generalisations, just as "some" British people are racist, BNP loving, not all

The Aus Govt has apologised to Aborigines and is working to end the welfare gap for Aborigines (caused by Brit colonisation) with health, education, etc

If that were the case then (I'm assuming from your profile that you're British), you'd be just as culpable as SashaWolf2009. Don't forget that Australia didn't federate until 1901, by which time estimated over 100 000 aborgines had been killed, under British rule and sometimes with the help of the British Govt. But as I say, both the British and Aus Govts are culpable in that respect.

Supposedly they both had affairs, but I have never heard anything about him molesting children. Somehow I find it hard to believe someone who cared about his own image so much; would have jeopardized his career in something so foul. He had many enemies in Fleet Street as well as the Admiralty, Im sure they would not have hesitated publishing those rumors if there was any semblance of truth about it.

Mountbatten was accused of molesting young boys both in Ireland and abroad. It was alleged the British security forces new this and were deeply embarrassed; stepping back from there role in protecting the Lord. It is most unfortunate innocent victims were killed in the blast.

Just a sidecomment, it is somewhat hard for you to convince people about what you're saying when Louis' wife's name is Edwina and not "Edna" and the name of India's former PM was spelled as Nehru and not "Nahru". It is hard to believe allegations when the name of the people involved are misspelled.
