Illegal aliens have never done anything for Mexican-American citizens. While Mexican-American citizens were slugging it out for recognition in equality/civil rights, the newly-arrived illegals were relaxing in their country of origin. How the heck can illegals expect legal Mexican-American citizens to trash their hard-won gains by joining the ranks of people who don't have a legal right to be here? It would be crazy to step into the shoes of illegals when they enjoy all the rights of citizens.

Migration of illiterates increases 20%

A study by the National Institute of Educational Evaluation (INEE) (of Mexico) reveals that the number of illiterate youths - from 15 to 29 years of age - who emigrate to the United States in search of better living opportunities increased by 20 percent.

It shows that this portion of the population - which did not finish basic education - went from 40 percent in 2004 to 60.2 percent in 2007.
