I bought this single and the debut album directly when they came out. I never got to see 'em live with Dave (haven't seen 'em after either), but I saw Hardcore Superstar in 2005 who made a great album that year as well. 2005 was a great year.

umm... metallica isn't thash metal since '89 or so and everything they release is half-metal/hard rock. Machine Head have never been thrash - now they play mallcor-ish groov emetal. Dave did not take an overdose! Dave Lepard was a heroin addict, but his bandmates forced him to stop takin heroin. The heroin had made Dave extremely paranoid so he thought that people thought he was a bad singer. In February 2006 or 2005 they found Dave in his apartment....dead. He was suicide-killed.
