The licks sound great, but how do you stop the E & A strings ringing between strums during the intro section - when I do it, it sounds awful compared with yours!
So Robert, does your DVD on the 24 12 bar blues also provide the tab to follow as this video does for each of the lick lessons you teach on the DVD? Thanks and love your stuff.
@ArtDonna84 Yes, but it's not on the screen. You get PDFs and Guitar Pro 6 files with all the notation and TAB. You also get the tab as well as video instruction on how to play the rhythm guitar.
Does anyone know how is the rapid B3 - E0 - B3 is picked? I am trying to up pick each note but I can't play it fast enough or get the same sound. Great video!
got your videos 2 year ago and still my number one .still learning and i love them thanks.your lesson are excellent .you interduced me to all the greats cheers
Thanks for the breakdown of the lesson with the tabs just above the video, this was the best way I've ever seen a youtube guitar lesson presented, keep it up man, it was awesome
YES! More licks. It's all I need man. I know the scales and stuff all over the fretboard, but I'm useless at coming up with nice musical phrasing. These 2 licks will be a nice addition to my 'lick database' guitar pro file. Please Robert if you could do a couple licks which link together. Like Emmanuel's guitar boogie. I know that the future for me is combining licks I have learned with my own style. Just seems I can't quite get there. I just sound crap, boring, same pentatonic sound always.
I'm thinking about buying a fender lone star strat (like the one you reviewed on your website, but new) as my first strat (because of the humbucker). But I'm no expert when it comes to strats, so which strat would be a good first strat that I can have for many years, to about a thousand dollars?
Your lessons are great! Thanks a lot =)
