Ken Blackwell needs to look in the mirror. He, with a straight face and sans irony, was decrying "big gov't activism"! without that big gov't activism, what would the status of minorities be in this country? Would Ken be sitting there minus democrats? Hell No brother.

Its funny to watch this, because they are tripping over themselves trying to appeal to a demographic that is busy dying off.

The GOP has no appeal to youth, and I am laughing myself silly watching them implode.

I'm not getting you, the greatest strides in civil rights were made under Kennedy and Johnson, both Democrats.

This was the period where the "solid" south shifted to the GOP, because the Dem party was pushing civil rights. The GOP became the go-to party for white racists and it still is.

The original GOP was really progressive, but over the course of 100 years they morphed into a posse of straight up douchebags, cementing that with the "Southern strategy" catering to crackers.

The House was Democrat but the Senate was Republicans at that time passed laws like The Civil Rights act, Voting Rights Act and a whole bunch of others that the President signed.

I agree with that the Republicans are way more racist then Democrats are. But not everyone is

I'd say the three worst american president in history were republican: Hoover, Nixon and Bush. Tough choice to make.

I also love how republicans don't want "big government" which would meddle with people's lives, except when they want prayer in school, abortions banned, creationism taught and other stupid shit.

Hehehe you got the three worst one right. Bush was the wors because he takes the bad from Nixon and Hoover and combined them. Reagan sucked as well because he opened the door for Bush and it were basically his policies that did us in in the end.

Don't forget that Republicans over inflate the defense budget. Regan and Bush both did that. I forgot who said this but its funny that Republicans trust the government with bombs, tanks, and a large military but think health care and other government entitlement programs lead to a dangerous "big government"

Wow, talk about an undying loyalty to your political party. To say that just because a President is affiliated with a certain party, that automatically makes them better than any candidate from another party is just ludicrous.

Damn straight, I'm a huge liberal but I might be able to rate Eisenhower better than Carter (but not sure because I'm not well enough informed on them to make that judgment in my view). Never mind of course Lincoln who everybody loves (but I don't really see him as what is known as a republican nowadays).
