  • What part of Japan is this?

  • damn. you just had to do it, didn't you? post a video of the one thing i would miss if i went to japan. who knows, in a couple of years, there'll be yet another damn foreigner coming to live there! =^_^=

  • Amazing <3

  • this is were i want to live in Japan!! how far from a city is it?

  • Where is this place, exactly? I need to go here. It's absolutely beautiful! This is one of my favorite videos that you've posted!

  • Awesome. An amazing adventure. Hope you enjoyed the trip. Much love for Japan and it's people.

  • The little girl at 3:06 is so adorable!!! >.<

  • what I also love about the bbq, no flies!!

  • do you know about fishing in japan? like the laws/rules. if i ever do go to japan, i wouldn't mine doing some fishing there.

  • I really enjoyed this video, instant sub =D

  • I love how the food cooks in the middle of the picnic table like that. Looks alittle dangerous for younger children but I still wish they had things like that in America.

  • I don't recall ever having let rain spoil my day. It's the right attitude I believe... in fact often rain has made my day better. Like riding a bicycle in the rain can be very nice (assuming you are not going to an important meeting). Or jogging in the rain - it actually helps as you are not feeling so hot if it rains.

The nature looks beautiful in the video. I hope I can experience it some time. I would gladly spend some months touring Japan.

    Thanks for the video.

  • looks so nice...

but its realy dangerous go mountain, river, other waterfront on the typhoon day.

    some people killed every year. take care please;_;

  • Sorry, but I don't speak that much Japanese, so one one is fine. Stop moaning!

  • Such a cute girl <3

  • @Jrod311

She was sweet - very kawaiii! Awesome scenery.

  • @WABBITS8

If your are going to speak in a different language, don't mention another one inside of it AKA Kawaii..

  • i would like to live at the mountainside..beautiful nature, flowing river, so relaxing

  • Love the countryside in japan,

    where is this?

  • That little was having the time of her life dancing xD

  • What's that GEL thingy on the coals for???

  • Where abouts did you film this? Gifu? Nagano?

  • What is the gel that was put on the coals? Is it some type of lighter fluid?

  • I stumbled at one question in my mind: Do people in Japan prepare in restaurants raw pork or any other meat? Thx for answer... 5 stars!

  • such a cute kid ^.^

  • Reminds me of Portland Oregon, it's always so rainy and it's so green

    // From Sweden

  • Ya know... I haven't seen all 400 videos, but I'm pretty sure I've seen about 300 or so.

  • one of the best! Very Calming!

  • yeah, it didnt do antyhing more than a little rain here in Fujiyoshida

  • Insipiring scenery and happy dance makes this one of my favorite videos from you. Gotta love it

  • your videos always make me feel like I wanna be there too :)

  • About 70% to 80% of the country is forested, mountainous, and unsuitable for agricultural, industrial, or residential use. --- from wikipedia so take it for what its worth, but your right it is very beautiful :) I guess thats why its so dense in the areas you CAN build in, because 70+% of the country is unbuildable

  • Do you ever find yourself wishing to cook things more like they did in your country? Would Japanese people think that strange?

  • Wow! What part of Japan is this??

  • is that japan-glish on the little ones shirt?

  • Great vid with the scenery and fun ! Ever go to Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture ? I recently saw that destination featured on a US Nippon TV show. Perhaps Lake Biwa is more touristy or crowded compared to nice areas such as the one featured on this video.

  • Why do everyone put up food vids today?!

  • any chance of a Mt. Fuji video

  • That definitely is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

  • Cutest little girl ever. xD I hope we see more beautiful mountains in your videos! ^^

  • It'd be cool if you did a video completely in Japanese with English subtitles. I haven't heard you speak in Japanese at length, and I'm interested...

  • in anime little mountain villages = supernatural catastrophies and mayham

  • Wow, the countryside in Japan is beautiful! I love it! Hibachi! ;) No wonder the Japanese live long healthy unobese lives. They eat wholesome foods! The typical American BBQ would include 3 lb bags of fat-laden potato chips, mayonnaise-laden pasta salads, and high-fructose corn syrup drinks. :/

  • is most of japan this rugged and beautiful? i understand that japan is mostly mountanous but the background is really striking.

  • o.o so pretty ^.^

  • Awesome outing! thanks for sharing it with us! =D

  • Gorgeous scenery! And that little dancing girl is adorable!

  • Japan have such beatifull landscapes! Post a video of a public onsen/montain onsen. (i think there is already one.. but more the better!)

  • Beautiful scenery, good food, and cute kids. Who would care what the weather is like?

  • BBQ on a rainy day - absurd but somewhat defiant in an interesting way. :-)

    Hope you had fun.

Btw, don't you BBQ on glowing charcoal instead of a flame?

  • That place is gorgeous! Where exactly was it? Wow that's just...so amazing!

    Great landscape. Really beautiful.

  • @JuBiTomislav I love this guy's channel!

    Damn, typhoons are scary :(

Weren't you a bit frightened, Mate?

And..... who is the lady in the end of the video? :D

  • really gorgeous surroundings!! nothing like good food with good company.

much more personal video than usual!!

    Peace!

  • Very nice scenery. The food looked good. Great Video! Thanks for sharing.

  • I have never been to Japan before, but I would like to go visit it sometime. I heard on a DVD from Toshio Suzuki (Studio Ghibli Producer) that a major difference between painters from Northern and Southern Japan are that Northern Japanese artists paint landscapes with a clear air, while Southern Japanese artists paint their landscapes with a mist. Would this be accurate?

  • You should do an Alcohol in Japan video.

  • Beautiful video. I can just imagine the smell of the rain and the mountains and the forest..and of course the food.

    Great video!

  • mmm that food looks awesome!!

And what a cute kid! :-D Kawaii is the word, right? :-)

  • Amazing...

  • Tasty :D

  • Girl with the bow in her hair, so Kawaii

  • Ah great video dude...

It really reminds me the time when I went to Japan for the first time this year, and I went to visit the small city of Kanazawa, travelling from Osaka. • Hey, thanks for making these videos! i especially like this one because of the beautiful landscape.. it´s gorgeous. in the end you say that most people have this busy and crowded image of Japan, but i always kinda wished it would look exactly like in this video :) so it´s great to know that you say it looks mostly like this.

  • awesome vid thumbs up :]!

  • Awsome

  • What do Japanese people do in the way of sports? Typically, in Canada, sports, such as hockey, lacrosse, football, soccer, basketball, ect. are really big and a lot of people typically accociate with at least one of them (males more so then females generally). Do people play a lot of sports in Japan and how are they typically precieved? I would imagine that it would be a bit difficult to accomidate a large number of sports with such a dense population.

  • Been thinking about taking part in the JET program but when checking up I stuff it seems I dont qualify as I didnt go to school long enough. If I would follow some courses and evening school do you think I could qualify? Ofcourse there are other criteria that also matter when you apply but just to get that part sorted. Maybe you have never been part of the JET program but just had to ask.

  • 70% of Japan is mountains and forests. Thumbs up for the cute girl dancing.
