Disney should never get rid of any of their rides. I'm all for adding new rides but part of the Disney experience includes the nostalgia that comes along with the rides and attractions.

I almost find it a shame that the wait for living with the land is always so short. It's got to be one of my favorite rides at Disney.

@UberWagen Yeah, it's nice for us fans, but more people should see it. I remember when the lines were huge and they had to use the extra banisters.

Just back from my WDW trip, and It's too bad this song isn't a part of the ride anymore... It would be good of them to play it right at the end of the ride.

And btw, Journey into Imagination sucks now!!! Bring my '80s Epcot Center back!

I worked on the boat from 1988-1991. A 25 page spiel and 5 days to memorize was our training.  I hated when they changed the song. I always liked this one. Even though I heard it everyday 40 hours a week LOL. "Welcome to a boat cruise across the land and through time"

@wkruskie Hi there. It's nice to hear from someone that worked there. It's very possible I was one of your guests when I was a teenager then. It's sad it's all automated now and that position is gone. As you see this ride and song has made quite an impact on our lives. I love gourds now and am trying to grow some of the giants I saw in the green house. I still dream of working there as a scientist.

Amazing song and ride!! It remains me when I was a little child this was one of my favorite rides, this and Horizons!!! Where can I get this song? The last time I went to Disney I tried to find a soundtrack with all the classic Disney ride songs but couldnt find it. I was there a couple months back and for the first time noticed the fountain in the middle was gone...something I remembered from many trips past. I agree, The Land is one of the few pretty much untouched attractions...which is good!

I just came back from EPCOT 2 days ago and when i asked one of the cast members what they were doing to the ride, they said they were replacing the boats. But the strangest thing is that I heard this song on the magic express comming back.

One more point. I hear they are making some changes to the ride. I believe it is closed right now for some sort of renovation. Do we dare hope they will bring back the Living With The Land Song?

Last time I went there I was so distraught that you can not get a Nestle chocolate chip cookie anywhere. That was the best part of going to the land pavilion. The Nestle Chocolate Chip cookie. I told my family I would go home and throw out all of my Nestle cookie dough and never buy it again. This is a great song though. We did the behind the scenes tour of the land and that was very interesting.

I LOVE the Behind the "SeedS" tour. I went on it in 2004 and once they gave me those pumpkin seeds I became a gardener. Hence all my garden videos now. Sadly what they don't tell you is Pumpkins don't grow in Florida when they aren't in a dome. :(

This is where the changes All started. Not the land but the Kitchen Kabaret... Turned into Food Rock, which was garbage compared to the original. sell outs. From Hershey to Nestle:(

That's one of the few original things I never saw. I never saw Kitchen Kabaret so I have no feeling for it. But it's sad it's gone. It's sad I haven't been to Soarin' yet either and I hear it's good. Someone obsessed with birds and flying should try it. I don't know why I can't get to that side of the Land Exhibits. Weird.

My mistake. It went from Kraft to Nestle.... Soarin is awesome! I waited 55 minutes to ride it and it was well worth it. As i see it Epcot has enough money and land to add rides. Not to keep replacing:(

kitchen kabaret was awesome!!! they dont have the balloons or anything in there anymore no fountain nothing just like one of there hotel lobby restraunts its so sad glad they have the land ride still. i live 20 min away we should all go to epcot and reminisc haha

"Listening to the land" is certainly what we all should do... We are fortunate around these parts to get the full network of seasons. It's a great song! And a great park! (We visited only once, several years ago, but we have fond memories of it.)
