All that has to be done is raise the cap. Right now people that make up to $90,000 pay 6%. People that make $180,000 pay 3% People that make$540,000 pay 1% The richer you are the smaller % of income is paid in social security taxes. Does that make sense? Who is that CEO that offers any CEO of a corp. one million dollars if he can prove he pays higher percentage income taxes than his secretary?

Why was Chris Wallace so adament about attacking Thompson's social security plan? This section of the "forum" was devoted to the tax records of the other candidates but when Wallace comes to Thompson, he changes the subject to S.S. and is very critical about Thompson proposal. FOX News is trying to portray Mitt Romney as the most conservative so they make accusations about Thompson and then give him the least amount of time to respond.

FOX News hosted this forum in an attempt to boost Mitt Romney's support in New Hampshire. If you watch the entire forum, Mitt Romney gets to speak for about 1/3 of the time even though there are 5 candidates. Plus Chris Wallace give Mitt easy questions while attacking the records of the other candidates. It's easy to see the biased because Ron Paul wasn't even invited and Fred Thompson was skipped a few times even though he has the most conservative record.
