mate this is a total random question but i have a fazer too an di have run out of battery and i do not know where the hell my battery is on the bike....any idea?

@corfiot21 Your battery is under the gas tank, there is only 3 bolts holding the tank down. one just below the front of the seat cussion, and 2 below the handlebars. I've always had to remove the tank as a whole just to reach it. dont move it to far cause you may pop the hose out and leak gas everywhere. Got a buddy who did that to his, spent more time laughing at him than helping him. Good Luck

@corfiot21 you gotta take quite a few things off for that. first the whole seat and then i cant remember wether its under the tank, in which case u have to remove 3 screws, two infront of the tank and the horizontal one in the back, or if its under the back thing where u can hold on, but i think i remember it being beneath the tank

Don't get carried away. It is a simple video to show the gauges. I have since sold the bike and looking for a new bike. Don't get so worked up over a simple video of the speedometer. The video was taken my first year of riding. And some people require permits is a great comment.

@ZetaPunk Oh and as for speed, if you were paying attention to ANYTHING you would have noticed that the fz6 revs to fucking 14,000 rpm. You don't think he would have downshifted a couple times if he was going for speed?? God damn some people should need a permit to operate a keyboard.

If you found it hard to find a mechanic for this bike, you probably had your head so far up your own asshole that the only place you looked was your small intestine. Anybody can work on an FZ. Well, when I say anyone, I mean people without diarrhea where their brain should be (that's you champ).

all fz6's are fuel injected. and the fz6 makes 96hp, way more than your cb550.

i cant imagine a bike being that slow lol >> im not bragging at all. im on my first bike right now which is a gsxr 750 and when I was learning to ride for the first ime it took me a while to get fast but nothing like the fz6. I wouldnt recommend anyone getting a fz6 because they are a little more difficult to get serviced than most bikes.. and power wise.. yeaa. the vid kinda showed that

I've had mine up to 233km/h before, but that was melted on the tank like a slab of cheese in the sun. I do weigh 120kg, so not a small guy, so i think the speed is quite respectable. I love my FZ6S and ride it to work and back every day, it has one drawback and thats that it makes my penis numb after about 40 mins of riding, then I have to stand and ride for a minute or two.

Because 193,12128kmh is closer to 190 than 200 I just wrote 190 because I am not that obsessed with details.

You need to be going 124,27424mph to achieve the same as 200kmh.

I only posted this because when i first got the bike my friends back in PA had never seen a digital Speedometer on a Bike. I have topped my bike at 156MPH but I could not do so in this video because of Road Length and obviously the Law is pretty strict up in Utah where I filmed this. Please refrain from the negativity because I know its faster than what is viewed here. It was simply a test to show friends the Digital Speedometer!!!

i got a stock Fz6 mine read 172and i had about 2000 or 3000 rpms left

Sorry, but with my stock FZ6 i was only able to get 12,500 rpm at 157mph indicated. Something like 151 actual. Only another 1k until the rev limiter.  I call BS on the 172.

With the stock tire and gearing, I got 157 indicated out of mine. But it's a well known fact that our speedos are about 6-10% off.

Feels a heck of a lot faster when you're doing it...yes, I know it's not an R1, or a Ducati, but this 600 can move pretty well.
