Let's just say that we'll get on board with Obama at about just the same pace as the Left got on board with Bush, which from the very beginning was quite similar to the Right's treatment of Obama now.
When I hear the Left say, "Give him a chance," I hear, "Don't treat our guy like we treated yours."
BUT I really do get sick about this massive bill at this time in our economy. I think it will be our complete demise.

If there was any chance that Obama didn't actually win the 2008 election, I could understand some views from the right. However, he clearly won and there was no need for the Supreme Court to get involved in it.
But, tell me, if you think what happened to Bush was wrong in 2000, how does doing the same thing (in your opinion) make things right? Tit-for-tat is more dangerous to destroy this country than any spending bill.

It doesn't make it right, but I am a CONSERVATIVE with conservative views.....vastly different than Obama at my core.
However, I will say this, and it sounds horrible, but I have changed my stance on abortion. It is the irresponsible who are likely having them, and well, so be it: a blessing in disguise.
Criminals, welfare rats(B&W), marxist college professors, abortionists, athiests, illegals, UAW members, teachers unions, ACORN and race pimps didn't vote Mccain.

WRITING or CO-WRITING bills, not just having their name attached to it after being written by someone else. Also, Jindal voted yea or nay, not "present," like Obama did 130 times as an Illinois senator (COWARD)!!

We cut taxes (well actually deferred them) in 2003. How did that help us? I see that Republicans are a one trick pony. You guys have nothing else to offer other than cutting taxes. Well, we did it already and we are now from $5T to $10T in the whole. How did cutting taxes help us? Reagan did it for the rich in the 1980s and he destroyed the social security trust fund as a consequence of it. Not helping anybody planning to retire in the future.

I remember a time long ago when the rich were willing to increase their taxes to pay for the wars and many even sent their children to fight. Where is the honor? You don't cut taxes when you start TWO expensive wars. This is fiscally irresponsible. I think the "cut taxes" record is broken on the Republican record player. There are times when one should cut taxes, but this is not the answer to every problem - certainly not when we are fighting a war that already bankrupted the Soviet Union.

Your right CRA requires banks to make loans in their community, the problem is that part of that community is deemed undeserved, and they have to give a certain amount of loans to those areas, MBS allowed banks to say, well shit they are gonna back me up why not give loans to undeserved areas. And when they dont, Obama sues them for discriminating african americans. And i agree derivatives are part of the problem.

This is again where you start blaming the poor. There are plenty of people who have always deserved to get a loan in these so-called undeserved areas. I even hate calling such thing to my fellow Americans. As long as banks were lending to lend and keep it on their books, they did the business ethical thing to do...get salary verification, make sure the person is not getting more than 3x their salaries. If the bank did anything other than this, it is not any law's fault, it is the banker's.
