@TayTay123ize He was born in New Zealand but he moved to where his parents are from which is Australia when he was younger. That is why he has that accent but in 1992 he moved to Nashville Tennessee, which is why when he sings he doesn't sound Australian

Keith was indeed born in New Zeland. Moved to Australia when he was 2 years old. Lived there until his move to Nashville. His accent is more pronounced in his speaking voice, than when he is singing. He stated that he thinks he has picked up some Southern accent and that his daughter probably will also.
