  • Thank you for posting these videos. I grew up listening to him and I can truly say he was GREAT at what he did. It's hard to find good gospel like this today. Regardless of what others may think or say about him, he was gited and anointed by GOD to minister music to the world. He touched & no doubt changed many lives thru his ministry and for that we should give GOD the glory. He is a true Gospel Legend and will always be The King of Gospel.

  • Thank u I love James he was absolutely brilliant I study him, I also love Dr Albertina Walker, I so regret I wasn't old enough meet them but their live through me as long as live play & sing!!! I played this for alter call today the whole choir was recked we couldn't get to our sermonic selection : )

  • @Destinn3000

Thank you for your comments, I to find him the greatest that ever did gospel on record.

  • You know there is a huge African American babyboomer market for this music. It brings back such fond memories in church music, fried chicken and fellowshiping. The musicianship of premanufactured sounding music is awesome to not only hear but to behold as well. There is still mid sixties to early 70 body of his work that is yet on here. I've got some vinyls from that period. When he teamed up with that master pianist Pickhard...Billy Preston...wow.

  • Reicya, Glad you enjoyed it, as we all seem to do. John H.

  • Breath on me! Thank you so much for this!

    Shalom & Blessings!

  • rev Coley look so younger, but he can still sing and was 1988!

  • rev Coyley look so younger, but he can still sing and was 1988!

  • Thank you for enjoying James' music, as I do. You say whoever posted this. Well I did, in the first person, not from somewhere else. I have the video which I love and I have many of the old records of his and others. May God bless you and keep coming back for more of this great artist and Christian.

  • Thank you so much for this video!!!!!!!!!! When I hear Rev Cleveland songs it just make's me wanna shout. This was real gospel music. He did have to use alot fancy words and crazy hooks to make his songs. They were simply. And I love that!!!!! Whoever posted this Keep Them Comin and Be Super Blessed!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks so much for posting. I owned this VHS when it was first released. Great to see it again.

  • OMG, did anyone see the look the James cleveland gave the piano player @ 1:55 and then James tell him that he's play too loud! LMBO.

  • The King Of Gospel! I Love This Song, Daryl Coley killed this song!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video!

  • Thank you for your comments and interest in the great James Cleveland. I hope to get more up in the future.

  • @Inhisbody You are so welcome, I am glad I could bring a blessing to you.

  • Thank you for posting this video!

  • This is a nice video and I will try and get more of it up. although a lot of it is him just being a choir conductor rather than the singer, that is a shame.

  • This is awesome. I have been looking for videos with the Reverend singing live, very hard to find. I have been going through it during these tough economic times. The music he made, which I remember my mother playing as a child, has soothed my soul.Thank you.
