I built the controllers using their kits. Took about 6 hrs each to build the controllers. So 12 hrs total. That will allow you to control 32 channels or individual light sets. You also need software to program the controllers. About $300 in extension cords, and a bunch of time.
It takes about an hour to code 10 seconds of music. This song was 2 min 21 sec or a little over 14 hrs of work.
