taylor momsen would have been better for cherie currie since her voice is ten times better the dakotas and shes adapted to that rock and roll lifestyle in her own life which makes her more experianced and able to mesh with the character better. dakota is an amazing actress but i just dont think she was really right for this role. although she did do an amazing job. taylor would have done better in my opinion.

i wasn't 100% happy when i first heard that steward was playing the jett part but she was better than my expectations. i still think that her physic doesn't match joan though. i wasn't excited about her singing also but i always respect the actors who dare to do it all the way so that's good.

and generally, since joan had a saying about the movie, i guess she approved steward so i suppose there is nothing left for me to say..
