Did you use a base colour (other than the clear base coat)? and also what's the name of the top coat? Have been trying to hunt down a good top coat for ages. Great work!

Love the Rainbow look- my daughter watched some of the video with me, she's only 5 and after the video had finished she wanted her nails painting a diff colour on each finger, when i picked her up from school ( i forgot to take the nail polish off for school) her teacher said to me ....Elena was so excited to show me her nails this morning, she said she called them her Sophy the nail lady that mummy likes Nails) How cute is that! You have a 5 yr old Fan. xx

I think this video, while not the best quality, is an incredibly good start. Filming nail tutorials is really hard.

My only suggestion is putting the colors and brands of the nail varnishes you used. I know some colors may be discontinued, but I can always google the brand and color and then hunt for a similar color if it's discontinued. Chanel Jade may be discontinued, but I can always hunt for a similar jade color.

I love that you used Illamasqua's Rampage. It's one of my favorite colors.

Sophy i enjoyed this vid and i enjoy your nail art in general.

You have to realise though that the youtube community is full of looneys, racists, the overly critical and the sad. People will critique everything and make obnoxious comments, if your happy with it thats all that matters, i wouldn't even bother responding to be honest.

Thanks for doing this Sophy- very enjoyable to watch. It's really good to learn how to do this and I am going to give it a go. The picture of this look on our blog is amazing! Fair enough I agree the filming quality is not they great but I still wanted to put it out there. The next episodes will be better once I get the right team involved. It is really hard to get good people to do stuff for you trust me. Anyway I hope u appreciated some of the tips on there as at least I made an effort to do it. Thanks for your feedback.

mmmm i thought it was going to be a more profesional video, cant see the colors and there is no close caption, sophie s hairs appears in the middle of your screen, im a little dissapointed
