Very nice composition. Good luck in San Diego. I have a very old uncle who has lived there for 55 years. The weather is beautiful there but it is incredibly expensive there. Maybe you will find that commune you seek and will be happy. Keep us posted on what you decide. Love your song.

Well my first stop is La Jolla. You know my Heart and Spirit has Always Longed for the West, since i was there when i was very young. But living in the South for 14 years, being so segregated and cut off from the Warmth and Openness of California, i believe it will be All worthwhile.

Also, California is going through such a Crisis right now, and the Job market is so tough. I was looking for like Hippie Communities, where i could work for Shelter and food, etc. I just need to go because my Heart LONGS for the West.

My logical sense and mind tell me to go to Florida, but someone or something has Always drawn my heart to the West...

Mitch, why do you want to come to California? I think you will make it if you come here for the right reason but if you come to find yourself it might difficult. Living in CA can be very expensive especially in San Francisco, LA, or along the coastal areas but cheap, hot and boring in the central valley. Although unemployment is sky high, I think you can find a job here.
