I remember watching him as a kid, he was always my favourite strongman. I like how the Scandinavian strongmen were always very friendly towards each other and good sportsmen, a lot of the strongmen throughout the ages were assholes.

Well, yeah. It also helps if you're sweating. For example in a gym; doing your last set of deadlift, you're hands are really sweaty, and your grip is weak. Then you have to take some white powder on you're hands. I forgot the formula of it, but it was the ashes of something.
