  • hi:) hellow just a cuestion : where did you buy this?? do you know where can i buy it in mexico?

  • would it work if you have jet black hair? cause i saw some brown in your hair...

  • Wish i could get this hair colour in uk but they dnt do a resale here

  • Hey really liked you vid I was thinking dying my hair the same color but my hair naturally black brown will my hair color come out a lighter tone of brown or red?

  • Anytime you lighten your hair, it's going to stink and sting too. So always gave lots of ventilation before you start (keep the windows open around the room where you will be coloring your hair). Blonde hair dyes and bleaches are worst that this stuff (PeeeEWW!). So always have windows open when you are lightening your hair.

  • You can always go lighter in another month. Just give your hair like 3-5 weeks break. The color turned out pretty good. I was thinking of getting this exactly shade and brand, but my hair is a medium brown (lighter than your was when you first started). So I'm excited on how it will look. I'll let you know in another day or 2.

  • love the color. that's the color I'm dying my hair soon. question: I have the same length but my hair is thinner. should I only use 1 or 2 boxes?

  • looks a little brassy...nice though

  • how many time did you leave the loreal thing on your hair ? i hava really black hair and wanna take it off

  • Bella omg exacly bella from twilight

  • are your eyebrows black if so did you dye them to match your hair?

  • Your really pretty! ....Oh and u look like kristen stewart, which im sure you hear alot, but yeah..Lol.(: ----GREAT video as well! Thanks!

  • can you use this on coloured black hair? it says on the box not to :/

  • @Monicaaah1 I tried this on my hair which i had died black and my roots are a dark ashy blonde. My hair turned out yellow roots and black hair...Did not touch the black at all...Please do not waste your money on this...I wish i hadn't...:(

  • @TrueDeyton Really?:/..awh ,,Any other brown hair dyes that would work on black hair?:/ Ive stripped my hair twice nd it came out foxy and i used light brown colour on it and it went back to black with foxy roots :/

  • Comment removed

  • @Monicaaah1 I would suggest using the l'oreal brand color stripper, personally best results i found, (please have someone help you for it is runny and hard to tell if whole head is covered) then get an ash cool color to get your base. It make take a few weeks to get the red brassiness out. Also you can use silver shampoos, specifically used for removing red as that will be your biggest issue when you remove the black. Unless you want to go red then you will just need the hair color:)

  • @Monicaaah1 Try a medium ash brown to light ash brown. Hopefully should not send you back to black. I suggest Revlon colorsilk

  • @TrueDeyton Okay :) Thanks so much :D

  • Kirsten Stewart ....so true, that's the first thing I thought too ! ESP with darker hair :) I have been after this hair dye for a bit but I have naturally dark ( dark) dark brown hair , and scared of it turning orangey !

  • Can i use any argan oil available or one and only argan oil?

  • I had dark brown to black hair colour before but my natural colour is light brown, I removed my haircolour twice hoping I would get my natural haircolour back :( my hair are much lighter now though almost chesnut/medium brown..do you think I can still use this haircolour even after using haircolour remover?? Im scared since u are only ment to use it for virgin hair :\

  • most ppl agree

  • you look exactly like kristen stewart

  • kristen stewart

  • Is this hair colour brand not available in the UK?

  • How long did you leave the dye in for?? My hair is super dark brown, with red tints. Im dying it the same color, I don't want it to be too light

  • i have been coloring my hair dark ash brown for around a year. my hair looks black can i use this color on my hair and will it lighten?

  • juuuuuust a quick question! how did you apply the hair dye? from roots to tips or the other way around?

  • @xJacquelinka I did dye from roots to tips. If your hair is dark though and you want to keep the roots a little darker than start with the ends. However, it's almost always done from roots to tips.

  • @nicoliecoleee u resemble becca from twilight!

  • did it give you a brassy orange under tonee?

  • @pinkiixolili well anytime you dye your hair from dark to light it's going to give you a brassy tone. However, dyes with ash color in them instead of neutral or golden tones usually take out the brassyness. Also you could try red out which is something you can get at sally's beauty supply and add that to the dye which will make it even less brassy. But in terms of your question, it did give me some brassyness, but the least amount of any dye that I've ever used.

  • can you get these in new zealand?

  • @Pinkcessxox Not sure. You'd have to ask someone else that lives there. Good luck!

  • OMG u look like Kristen Stewart!!! And good review :)

  • @Katrinarockslol Thank you haha I get that a lot and I have no idea why.

  • Did it dry out your hair? I have virgin hair and i'm planning to dye it.

  • @shallyanna All dyes do dry out your hair a little bit. From personal experience though, box dyes are a lot less harmful to your hair, but they don't last as long. If you want something that lasts a little longer you should go to sally's and pick out a dye and the right developer to mix with it. The associates there can help you with everything you need too, they're pretty knowledgeable.

  • Did it damage your hair? My hair is like chocolate brown but i wanna go lighter but not red-ish.

  • @Terixi Hardly at all. All hair dye is a little damaging but with deep conditioner my hair ends up coming out of the experience even softer and feeling healthier then when it went in. Even if that's not the case.

  • You have to use ash blonde to go a nice brown from red/black :)

  • @lollyandnelly Yup. Ashy colors are always good at canceling out the red and copper tones.

  • your face is more expressive than kristen stewart's. no joke.

  • @nurfbar I'd hope so. haha

  • OMG she looks just like kristen stewart !

  • @PhotoshopStars Thanks haha. I get that a lot... still not understanding why though.

  • @PhotoshopStars i was JUST thinking that omg.

  • I am using this right now. Wish I would have found this video first. This stuff smells soooo freakin strong and yeah. So I have yet to rinse it out, but hopefully it turns out alright. I'm nervous!

  • @RavynKlaw How did it turn out??

  • bella is that you?.... xD

  • @xxiviixxx haha nope. She sure is stunning though.

  • @nicoliecoleee haha...but you really look like her...so where's edward?..i heard your getting married.. LOL

  • @xxiviixxx lol I'm not a huge fan of twilight. I did like him in Harry Potter though. Cedric was pro.

  • BTW you are beautiful! You look so much like rachel evan wood!

  • @vagome Thanks. Never got that before, but she is beautiful.

  • That's exactlu what I don't want! I don't want the roots to be ligther. You look great but in me I know it dosen't look good. So I don't know If I should try this :(

  • @vagome You could try putting it on the ends of your hair leaving it for 20 min then putting the rest on your roots and leaving it on for 10 additional minutes. That's what I had to do a couple times dying my hair to avoid light roots.

  • how long did you leave it in for? and did you blow dry it?

  • @xx0ink 30 minutes. and nope.

  • lol actually nvm I see other ppl asked similar questions. great vid!

  • @jamaicancewtie5 Thanks. =]

  • does this mean its kind of bleaching your hair? I really want to take my dark brown hair to a color thats slightly lighter maybe 2 shades lighter but i dont want damage! im trying to grow my hair

  • @nicoliecoleee Would you recommend I use this? My hair is naturally a medium brown but I currently have it black with copper highlights and my bangs are a deep red. Would this work on my hair?

  • @HembrasLocas3 It should work to make your hair a little lighter yes, It might and should take out some of the copper to your hair as well. Your bangs are the only thing I'm not sure about. They may turn a light pink or even orange using this. It might be worth a shot though. If all else fails you can just dye over it again. =]

  • im asian and my hair was blacker than yours, but did you bleach?

  • @herbees1 I didn't. I think because my hair is naturally a light brown I didn't need to. I think if your hair is naturally really dark you could try this and it would work, however I don't know if it will go as light as mine did, but you should see a difference. Hope that helped. =]

  • @nicoliecoleee Kool. THNX!^_^

well, actually i dyed my hair 2days again Midnight ruby or sumthin, nd it kinda luks lighter in the light, and kindof in the indoors with on light. Sorta a brownish red....and i dont know how it wud turn out >.<

  • @herbees1 It should come out fine then. You do want to go for an ash base if your trying to get some of the red out like the one I used. It will probably end up looking more towards a medium/light brownish red. All the red probably won't come out. If you get purple based shampoo though like the Shimmer Lights Shampoo blonde & silver from sally's (link in the downbar) you should have no problem getting a beautiful light ash brown color. Good luck!!

  • @nicoliecoleee THNX!

Thanks for the vid too^_^ I subscirbed...plz sub back. LOL.

And is your hair still like that?

  • @herbees1 It is still like that. And I subbed to you as well. =]

  • @nicoliecoleee THNX! ^^ keep up the vids

  • *My mom has had bad experiences with Feria

  • My hair is almost as black as yours and I've had baaaaad experiences with Loreal Paris's Feria line, so I just wanted to know how this line by Feria affected the texture of your hair?

I'm a total first timer and I have super healthy hair and I don't want it to die :)

    Stay gorgeous!!<3

  • @yumna567 I've actually had bad experiences with the rest of their line as well. The dark hair formula seemed to be a little different though. It clearly lightened my hair but it didn't leave it feeling to damaged. Of course having products to help your hair recover after is a lot better. The products that I mention towards the end of the video work wonders. Especially the Aussie Deep Conditioner. After using any hair dyes of course my hair feels a little drier, but deep conditioner fixes that.

  • that lady on the front of that box looks like micheal jackson

  • @whatsupme401 haha I can see it.

  • Omg I use that same exact oil and I completely agree!! Best thing I ever bought for my hair...I also got the conditioner which works pretty good as well

  • @coldtink93 oh nice! I might try it then. I do love that though. I'm wondering If I should do another video with some other hair products I like now. I've found a couple gems. ;)

  • @nicoliecoleee yes please!

  • Revlon Colorsilk is ammonia free and doesn't smell bad. If you get one of the Ultra Light Blonde colors you will get an intense result. #3 Ultra Light Sun Blonde, #4 Ultra Light Natural Blonde or #5 Ultra Light Ash Blonde. I did one ultra light for the darker hair in back, mixed with a medium ash blonde for the grays up front, and I got an even, beautiful result between a light and medium ash blonde with great highlights. Remember girls, for long hair always buy 2 boxes.

  • Where did u get it? and how much was it? anyone knoww? reply pleaseee!

  • @YurieAplus I just got mine at Target. Wallmart or some grocery stores should have it too. It's no more than $10

  • can you use this on dyed hair or just naturally dark hair?

  • @christieyamm It should work on both depending on how dark your hair is.

  • how long did you leave the color on till u washed it out?

  • @KonnichiDork I just followed exactly what the box said. Normally 20 - 30 min though. ;]

  • That's so funny we use the same exact stuff xD - Neutrogena. I started the Loreal everpure and everstrong stuff about 2 weeks ago. I LOVE it. Ion has a great smell but it really doesn't help my hair that much =/

  • @brittniebob I've used ion too and I've found the same thing to happen. It doesn't really help but it does smell awesome. The Chi Shampoo is also supposed to be really good.

  • Hey,

So I have black hair and I recently tried lightening it with bleach, and of course it only pulled my roots to an orange.

I tried it again, and it still didn't work so I dyed it back dark. I want just a normal brown color, will this hair lightener work?

  • @Jennalenna8 You would probably have to strip the black back out of your hair with a color stripper first. I would recommend leaving it dark for a little while if you don't want to deal with the orange color. When you decide your hair is healthy enough to use the color stripper go ahead and follow it exactly. Then use this box dye right after. I really wouldn't do this to your hair until it was back to normal strength from when you bleached it. Bleach is really damaging and so is color stripper.

  • @Jennalenna8 U SOUND LIKE A FUCKING FREAK!

  • hey so ived dyed my hair a lot and i was wondering do you think that if i use the loreal colorist hair color remover this product will work on me

  • @Meggie3000 It should. That's what I did and it worked fine on me. =] good luck.

  • @nicoliecoleee

Thanks!! I did it and my hair has turned out great!!! :)

  • My hair is pretty dark from dying it with semi-permanent products. Do you think this product will work for me? Because I'd rather not use a colour remover.

  • @MyJazzmo you can try it. if you really need to you could use this product twice within a couple of weeks to not cause damage. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Just don't expect it to get really light right away. When people say that you can't go lighter with box dyes, and that you HAVE to use bleach, that's usually a lie. You can use bleach to get there sooner, but if you want to do it in a slower less damaging way, I really think box dyes are the way to go. It worked for me.

  • so i have a question do i need to bleach my hair before dying it light ash brown.(My natural hair color is really really black) thanks:)

  • @87275jean nope you shouldn't need bleach with this dye if your natural color is black or dark. It may not show up as light as it did on me, but if you used it twice while waiting a couple weeks in between as to not cause much damage, it should look great.

  • i used that before.!! and i freakin loved, now i cant find it anymore =/

  • @xxjosieluvsyouxx really?? I went to the supermarket and I saw it today reminding me of this video haha. You can try checking amazon or ebay though.

  • @nicoliecoleee omg.! thank yu luv.! <3

  • omg i love that color! thanks 4da video... i am trying this on thanks :)

  • @cherryflavorgirl1 you're welcome! Good luck!

  • so i totally tried this cause it looked so nice on you! But as i was dying it, i read the box and it said it wouldnt work for darker colored hair than the loreal one itself, and it wouldnt work if you've colored your hair darker! and thats exactly what happend to me, i had no results at all! howcome it worked so well for you, and you used darker hair dye?!

  • @laughter4246 I hadn't dyed my hair in a while... maybe that was it. I also used hair color remover (which wrecked my hair) a few months before this. My guess is that you dyed your hair dark recently, which is why it didn't work. You may want to use color remover to get to a lighter shade before trying this, however, be VERY careful because when I used color remover it damaged my hair a lot. If you use it just once than use this it should be fine.

  • Omg thank you! I loved loved loved this video. It helped a lot cause I tend to dye my hair kinda often and I really need to prevent it from getting more damaged and I always buy so many products that dont even work well so I'm going to try the ones you use :)

    -stephanie

  • @swagga2101 Thanks! Glad I could help.

  • Thank u, I have been trying to lighten my hair for awhile, but seems like it just keeps getting darker, so I'm going to Diffidently going to try this but I will post u my results after I find out if & how much it lightens my hair =)

  • @QueenSadGurl Good luck!

  • I have black hair, with some (4) hi-lightnings. Wich color will be best for me? I have a honeydark skintone... will lightbrown colors work for my dark hair? thnx

  • @HiMyNameIsMaria If you have black hair you may want to try going in steps. If you're set on using box dyes and not going to a salon start out with a high lift to a medium brown first. Make sure that its a box dye made for lifting dark hair lighter though! So start off with that then gradually go from black to light brown. It's really hard and damaging to do it in one step. Wait a week or so in between. And also, if you don't want your hair an orangy color use purple shampoo. Trust me. It works.

  • um i have rly dark hair...like black ishh....i dyed it jet black in the summer....and i wanna go lighter ....so my question is...can i use like a blond hair dye instead of the bleach..or is THAT the bleach..like...idk what to do..help! lmaoo :D

  • @locamoca123

Blond hair dye is different from bleach. Dying it blond will have no affect on your hair. If you try to dye a light color over dark hair (unless it's made for dark hair) it will not work. White is the absence of all color, black is basically all colors meshed together. By adding more hair dye to the black, you might actually be making your hair darker than lighter. Bleach removes the color from your hair completely but it's a chemical that you need to be careful with.

  • @locamoca123 Well, In your case you have dyed black hair so I'd say try using a color remover than a box dye if your set on going a light brown again. Just be careful to use the color remover only once! I used it more than that and it damaged my hair severely. If you try that and it doesn't work, you can try getting to light brown in steps or just go to a salon and they can help.

  • lighter shades definitely makes you look younger or innocent..but it looks average, insignificant.. i think if you have a pale skin it is better to have a darker shades to contrast the skin.. and you need less make up to compliment...which is even better...

  • @alinn71 I'm planning on going back to dark hair in the winter. I find in the summer that light hair is way more manageable and there's less fading. I wanted to get back to my natural color for a while too so that my hair could grow out to be a lot healthier. but thanks for the suggestion!

  • @fetusfacebb haha thank you. She's really pretty.

  • Czy można taka farbę nabyc gdzieś w PL? :) BARDZO proszę o odpowiedz :)

  • That's awesome!

  • i dye my hair using the same box you have just a few months ago do you know what color its going to turn out if i use it again cause when i first dye it with it, it was bright but i don't really remember being that light..

  • @koreanbigfan it might turn out even lighter. You should just get a standard brown box dye then without the lightening effects if you don't want to lighten your hair further.

  • kristen stewart?

  • @jenniferyapp lol nope.

  • @jenniferyapp OMG can we say twins !!!

  • @vampySARAH haha thanks. I get this from other people too. I just don't see it though... maybe cause it's me lol.

  • @nicoliecoleee LOL, well u re both gorgeous !! XD

  • color won't lift color, that's why it didn't get as light as u wanted.

  • i dont see the kristen stewart thing...

  • gosh you look like that girl from twilight

    forgot her name

    but ur prettier^^

anywho thanks for the vid. im planning to dye my hair this color

  • @doodmooshoo haha thank you. and your welcome for the video! good luck!

  • OMG fnale someone who has a video on how to go a lghter brown from dark borwn :) <3 thnx heaps for the vd

  • @JoelRichy your welcome! glad I could help.

  • Hey im dyeing my hair now ! Hehe, I cant wait, its a redish brown. Thanks for the video !

  • @MyBabyyBath Your welcome!

  • Also, this is crazy because I have used/boought 90% of the products you just mentioned and they are all really helpful and good!!!

  • @Sheepy89 Good!! I'm glad I helped. Trust me though, they help me too. My hairs so long now!

  • I've been dying my hair dark brown for about 8 months now and I tried to use the Loreal Feria Hi Lift Brown to try and lighten it and there was absolutely no affect. Great video though. I think I am going to have to color oops, bleach and tone. :(

  • @Sheepy89 Honestly, I've used color oops, and I HATED it. It didn't help at all hardly. If you want to go a lot lighter, I'd say bleach in steps over a series of a few weeks. I kno it will take longer, but unless you want to cut your hair because of the damage, it's worth it. Trust me from a person whos been in that situation and made the wrong choice haha.

  • You look like Kristen Stewart. :]

  • @nvrshoutsarahx33 agree. i think nicoliecolee looks much cuter than Kristen stewart. the color looks perfect on you. will try it and hopefully wont be too light on me. lol

  • @learningthis1 oh goodness thank you. haha my mom tells me I look like her too but I always shrug it off. (I'm not a huge twilight fan) Personally I think Harry Potter and LOTR are better but I understand the appeal. Vampires are sexy. Just look at Kate Beckinsale in Underworld and Wesley Snipes in Blade. Damn. lol

  • @nicoliecoleee yea, i agree.. not a huge twilight fan either. NO comparison to LOTR at all. :D I find K. Stewart's acting a bit flat in the twilight movies *hides* u probably should take over her spot there. seriously. :D Anyway, i did try this color on my hair. u r so right: strong stuff! i did open the window b4 i started like u said. :D i didnt like the color for first couple of days cause depending on the light, it look brassy...but now it's ok. continued...

  • i am thinking of maybe renewing my sally beauty card. of all ur fav. hair stuffs at sally, what should i get? any suggestion for a product to strengthen the tip of the hair? i dont have split ends but it seems frail compared to the rest of my hair. i can get a free ion or silk elements product, and then a $5 gift card.

  • @learningthis1 I would say $10 (Sallys) One n' Only Argan Oil Oil Treatment for sure!! Just put the smallest amount on the tips of your hair. It has worked wonders for me. I also love the Aussie 3 minute miracle which is at wallmart or target or any drug store for $4-5. The Dumb Blonde reconstructor from bed head is AMAZING too. But it's $20 and thats a lot of money. Good Luck tho!

  • how long ago was it before this video that you dyed your hair dark and how many times did you dye it?

  • @RachelsMakeup101 My hair was dyed a medium/dark brown about two or three months before I tried this. It had faded a little though and my roots were showing a lot because my hairs actually a light brown. I only dyed it this color once. =P

  • Hey, Nicole!

    Nice to see ya again!

    Your hair looks great.

    Love the color as well.

My only question is: If your hair is naturally light brown, why do you need to dye it?

Sorry if that question is too personal.

Thanks for the hair care tips anyway.

  • well I dyed it really really dark brown and I was trying to get back to a more natural color for me so that it didn't grow out looking really funky.

My hair was damaged really badly because I used colorfix to try and lighten it, but that stuff does NOT work at all. haha.

  • @nicoliecoleee Thanks for the explanation.I was just curious. :)
