Is it possible that you or whoever made this just got a bad one of these and that distortion is just a factory defect? or does this happen with all of them?
This is not intended as a dig at anyone but was that an OEM cd, what format was you playing the tunes from, if mp3 was it in 320 kbps @ a sample rate of 44100 Hz or lower or joint stereo ? . check all of your mp3's if that is the case, for best Quality thay all should be in the following: . Max Bandwidth= 22050 CBR= 320 KBPS (NOT VBR) Sample Rate @ 44100Hz Fast Codec H.Q None Joint Stereo Field . enjoy...
Holy censored comment section. People are allowed to rip on some vinyl purist, and none of his responses can be seen. The rule of criticism is: if you can't take it, don't give it
@semtek909 You can't rip on vinyl. First of all digital is very forgiving and allows the mediocre to sound like gods (Ha 'God is a DJ' lol). You don't have to play by ear or worry about how heavy you pet the plates etc. Any real jock will tell you vinyl sounds warmer, better and takes a little more technical skill but the advantages with digital makes it practical.
makes me laugh when i see idiots complain about people using cdj`s. obviously they`ve never used cdj`s in their lives, as there isn`t really much difference when it comes to dj`ing with vinyls or cd`s.
although, vinyl`s are heavier to carry around and are way more expensive. if they get damaged, or lost it`s harder to find replacements.
cd`s you can burn off as many copies as you want, you can carry around far more music and gives you far more choice of music when gigging.
So recently I was djing this party in Oakland and the host said he had a friend who wanted to "DJ" so I said sure and left the room for a minute. When I got back he had his computer connected to my system and he was steaming YouTube videos.......
If you see it again it does sound ok as long as you dont press the pitch lock button. when you first scratch the technics is was ok, then you hit the button and it was distorted, but then you took it off and was ok again. That button is not nessesary anyway if your a true blender you dont need the lock button. All 3 are good. My personal favorite are the Denon.
@peopleschamp05, that update still didn't fix the key lock issue while scratching from what I was told. That is a hardware issue limitation with the DZ deck.

The actual sound waves are pressed into the vinyl. The needle is then dragged over those impressions and amplified. With CDs it's just a bunch of binary code converted to simulated music. Vinyl is best. CD Dj's are just kids playing with toys their parents bought them. I've even cought some of them using my Mix CDs (mixed by vynil and recorded onto CDs) as their own during performances.

Hey djpio what the fuck are you in my house how the fuck would know if I don't have technics. Guess what hoe I do that's how I learned how to mix and scratch. Get yo ass back on the corner where you belong and get my money and never challenge BIg Daddy
Fuck off you punk ass sheep!!! The only thing this shitty video was useful for was helping to destroy technics. I have a set and no there is no digital distortion! Fuck you technics is the 1 and only! Don't try and resist getting a set in fact the harder you try and ignore by resisting the likely it you will fail and get a set! Peace
@PhychoStylez Ya the guy made a 3 part video and those titles took a long time to make, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this guy must of had some motive to go to this effort, AND does ANYONE not NOTICE he named himself DJ SCANDAL?
Anyways, my point was that there are so many people like this guy: " well pioneer is amazing. denon is great too. but im down right ashamed of Technics right now.....
OK, used the technocs for almost a year. But if you think clearly, the technics handles the pitch-lock as it is supposed. No changes is pitch what so ever. The pitch is ment to adjust speed without having a higher or lower pitch, as the pioneer and denon do. This can only be reached by a algorythm that chops every audio frame into pieces and plays the frame apart with a space in between. This space between each frame depends on the speed of playing. This causes the "disortion sound". So it see
i kinda like the digital distortion and the pitch-lock.. it's more unique, why solely imitate vinyl? it's digital, why not use it as a digital tool? don't be afraid to stand out from the crowd, I'm sure there's way's to use it to your advantage.
@jayhunter100 haha joker i love all this vinyl is for real djs bullshit u know what i spin vinyl and cds yeah i agree that vinyl has and always will have the better sound but when playing out if im doing a set 5-8 hrs fuck carrying that much vinyl with me where a few cd wallets means i can carry more music and diffrent types of genre

Hey djpio what the fuck are you in my house how the fuck would know if I don't have technics. Guess what hoe I do that's how I learned how to mix and scratch. Get yo ass back on the corner where you belong and get my money and never challenge BIg Daddy
Chitownzson 1 year ago
Fuck off you punk ass sheep!!! The only thing this shitty video was useful for was helping to destroy technics. I have a set and no there is no digital distortion! Fuck you technics is the 1 and only! Don't try and resist getting a set in fact the harder you try and ignore by resisting the likely it you will fail and get a set! Peace

Defcreator your another hater (WITH NO VIDEOS) People are starting to find out the truth sorry buddy.
mixterious12345 1 year ago
@mattluvsvox921 EXACTLY.
mixterious12345 1 year ago
Its completely RIDICULOUS how many of you believed a video by a guy who was paid by pioneer to use a low quality bit sample to bash these turntables.
If you own a pair you know their the best. Fortunately I don't LISTEN to OTHER people and have my own mind.
mixterious12345 1 year ago
@mixterious12345 you DO realise that he's not being paid for this, and he said the denon was just as good as the pioneer.

Because they saw this. C'mon.
mixterious12345 1 year ago

OK, used the technocs for almost a year. But if you think clearly, the technics handles the pitch-lock as it is supposed. No changes is pitch what so ever. The pitch is ment to adjust speed without having a higher or lower pitch, as the pioneer and denon do. This can only be reached by a algorythm that chops every audio frame into pieces and plays the frame apart with a space in between. This space between each frame depends on the speed of playing. This causes the "disortion sound". So it see
Fearwind 1 year ago
deswegen hat technics den auch aus dem verkehr gezogen gut zu wissen
aber bei vinyl sind se ungeschlagen ^^
BobbelNB 1 year ago
i kinda like the digital distortion and the pitch-lock.. it's more unique, why solely imitate vinyl? it's digital, why not use it as a digital tool? don't be afraid to stand out from the crowd, I'm sure there's way's to use it to your advantage.
