I got Win7 installed on an old Dell laptop that runs WinXP and the performance is almost identical which is a good thing, Vista would make it uber slow.

Actually... WIN7 is considered by many the best OS ever, I put it on a cheap old computer (RC) and it ran smooth. So if you haven't a clue what your talking about, shut up.
