This certainly has cool visuals. Love the special effects. Meaning, not so much. I wish that artists would include a small blurb of what their work means to them. Otherwise, most people view then hate on it or just make stuff up to sounds smart.

I have learned things in videos on youtube that I did not find in books and vice versa.
As a matter of fact in recent memory I purchased 2 books that I have discovered either via a video or video comments.

If I make a video called "Facts about Milk" what would you think you will see? A break down of known facts about milk of a cow or goat or human or facts about Harvey Milk? (google pls just in case you do not know who that was). Sting Theory has been coined by science when you add Black to it one thinks it is a variant not an art film.

I find it amazing how so many people out there over analyze every odd or unorthodox video until they find some beautiful artistic meaning in it and then call themselves sophisticated because they understand such a complex piece of art. Interesting to watch, yes, but it was black lace, black paint, a doll, and some eggs. Get over it.

@AnAverageAzn I know that you reconciled with @doombunnies already, but I would like to add, I don't think it requires over-analysis to appreciate this video. Personally, I really enjoyed it aesthetically even without trying to attribute any particular meaning to it.
It's possible (and plausible) that the artist was trying to convey some headier concepts here and there, and yeah, we can make a guess or two about certain scenes; but I don't think that's necessary to enjoy watching it at all.
@AnAverageAzn cinematography is a popular art form. it's not about the subject, it's about a picture being able to give you an emotion. this video was created as an art piece, therefor it is art.

I recommend the Brothers Quay. I believe the video (s?) that were done for that band was done by a person who was inspired by those Brothers. In high school, I had an art teacher who was really into their style and we watched their films. They left me feeling a bit less pleasant than this film we watched here (this feels more clean and modern to me), but they are wonderful for how dark and creepy they are!
I have to admit, some people, including me, are in a quandry about what the reason of this video is. It was intresting, but I saw no resemblence to 'theory' and this video.

I find it amazing how so many people out there over analyze every odd or unorthodox video until they find some beautiful artistic meaning in it and then call themselves sophisticated because they understand such a complex piece of art. Interesting to watch, yes, but it was black lace, black paint, a doll, and some eggs. Get over it.

@AnAverageAzn I know that you reconciled with @doombunnies already, but I would like to add, I don't think it requires over-analysis to appreciate this video. Personally, I really enjoyed it aesthetically even without trying to attribute any particular meaning to it.
It's possible (and plausible) that the artist was trying to convey some headier concepts here and there, and yeah, we can make a guess or two about certain scenes; but I don't think that's necessary to enjoy watching it at all.

I recommend the Brothers Quay. I believe the video (s?) that were done for that band was done by a person who was inspired by those Brothers. In high school, I had an art teacher who was really into their style and we watched their films. They left me feeling a bit less pleasant than this film we watched here (this feels more clean and modern to me), but they are wonderful for how dark and creepy they are!
