I would also like to be a truck driver and i'm going to head to some truck stops and talk to truckers when i get off parole. I was wondering though if anyone is going to hire a felon (convicted 2010) and is it worth the $4000 risk? Any advice for someone in my situation?
@Painkiller1117 Talking to truckers is a great idea. As far as any background check related information, you can research that on our website or apply and talk directly to a recruiter about your specific situation.
hardest thing bout dribing trucks is staying away from home soo long but you run like you suppose to and make the money sometime it passes the time. i love it even tho i only been driving for 1 year
@stillsavinglives Everyone says something different when you ask them that question. Actually, backing up isn't as impossible as it seems if you follow the steps you're supposed to follow :) I would say some might find navigating to roads that accommodate trucks to be the biggest challenge, while being away for periods of a time is the hardest for others. Check out our website if you're interested in talking to someone about a truck driving job.
@cdltraining ok great! Thanks for replying that is really awesome that you took the time to do so. I will for sure check out your website because I am so interested in doing this but have no idea where to go or what to do about it. I think that is the biggest challenge for me.

I am very interested in becoming a truck driver! What is the hardest part? Backing up? or trying to turn around after missing your exit?
