I think Oliver Cromwell showed courage and bravery, standing up for what is right (opinion). Also, he started of as a farmer and worked hard to become, basicly a king! I think he is amazing for that. I think that although he some wrong things (who hasn't?) he is a great example to poor people who want to become more than just an unknown nobody.

I can understand why he was seen as a bady but back in the 17th century there were MANY worse people than old Ollie :)

Wales isn't mentioned because it was in union with England since 1301 and the civil war began in 1642. Scotland was joined with England only because it's kings began to rule England too.

Gets some of the order wrong, for example, the King had already been killed at the point when the Covenanters betrayed the English Parliament. It also over emphasises religion, which was important in Scotland, but not at particularly in England. Charles was not doctrinally un-Anglican, he's an Anglican Saint for a reason after all, it was actually trying to bring the Church of Scotland in line with the Church of England that annoyed the Scots and kicked off the Wars of the Three Kingdoms.
