I'am happy to live in Belgium because I have diabetes type 1. In the US my chances to make something of myself would have been much more limited. The newest techniques are available to me and it doesn't cost me anything. Everybody has the right to be healthy, well fed and a good education.

Healthcare isn't free, we pay it with taxes, and it doesn't matter if you have cancer, or you just catched a cold, you pay exactly the same. I started looking into this both through information online and in books as well as personal experiences from friends, who are Cuban, who have been told something by the healthcare system here, like being told that they have/don't have cancer, but can't afford it here so they go back to Cuba and learn over there that they don't have/have cancer and got all of their problems resolved over there without paying them a life savings worth to cover their situation.
I find it hilarious that the morons in the Senate back Barack Hussein Obama's health care plan for the country, saying that it's a great plan---one that all Americans should be proud to have. Yet, these scumbags opt out of that health plan, instead electing to keep the obvious "Mercedes" of all health-care plans for themselves and their families.

A shout out to Continental Airlines for putting me on their next flight to get me to a US hospital and US surgeons who saved my life, if not I would have died in the National Health Care System!
My question is .... if no one is denied health care in the US, Why these people died? Life is more important than money, Why didn't people got deeply in debt to save their own lives? You also would want to take into account that the average European on average makes more money with stronger unions and more security. For the most part they have a higher standard of living than us.

@721rem I live in the richer Dutch part of Belgium so my native language is Dutch and yes I also speak French. If Dutch is easier, than learn that to begin with. I had as well tough times with my French, you have to see it as a obligation not a choice if you want to learn a language. It helps if you listen allot to french music and cinema.

@MrTheLoones willing? no offense but learning french is impossible. I cannot even make the sounds you guys make to even begin to say your words. I hear ppl all the time say they took three years of french in school and THEY still cant speak it. I tried the online sites to and no help. how in the world do ppl learn it? you guys are still interesting to learn about still.

@721rem I live in the richer Dutch part of Belgium so my native language is Dutch and yes I also speak French. If Dutch is easier, than learn that to begin with. I had as well tough times with my French, you have to see it as a obligation not a choice if you want to learn a language. It helps if you listen allot to french music and cinema.

@krim80pol I´m from Finland, and I can say for fact, that the society in Denmark, or in Finland, or anywhere else in the world is NOT capitalist, in Europe only the market, and the corporations linked to it are. Secondly, this is one of the best documentaries that I have ever seen, and I do hope that the American people will put up a proper fight against pure injustice, and work towards a revolution instead of revision.

Would Cuba have any effective health care today if capitalism had not made it possible to invent the health care technology and medication?
Are so many Cubans willing work in health care for low pay because of the goodness of their hearts or is it because there are so few comparable alternatives in a socialistic society?
