In fact, the most recent author speaking of this was considerably more talented than the multiple writers and editors of the christian mythos; even going so far as to have his works converted into a theatrical masterpiece after his death.

As for Middle Earth: I vastly prefer Tolkiens "mythology" to the idea of heaven and hell..
