My AIU Dorm in Japan

Hello! Did you enjoy it there? How is the language? Is it totally different to standard Japanese? How was meeting people? Did you make a lot of Japanese friends? Where they scared of non japanese people?

is it expensive to go study to London AIU?? Do you need to be in honors or something like that to go? Can you go to London as a freshman undergraduate? I want to major in graphic design for my bachelor degree i been looking around for schools i been looking in chicago and ny so far until i came across this one knowing is in London is why i am interested

what did you take in AIU?

Do you mean classwise? I got placed into the level 2 Japanese I believe, I tok a course on Japanese Performing Arts, I took two Environmental Studies courses, a music course, and sat in on a class by Steven Turnbul called "Samurai and the Sacred", which basically followed the themes of his book by the same name.

This was for the spring semester of 2008, so I've been home fo over a year now. Japan was an incredible experience, and I think I'm a muh better erson for having gone through that stuy abroad experience. A lot of people reply to this thinking about the one in London. ^_^0

懐かしい～！ I'm a former exchange student at AIU. If I'm not mistaken I know the person who lived in that room in 2008. (Unless there's a room to the right of that, in which case it might be that one.) I hope you're having a great time at AIU (if you're there now, that is). It's a great place and I miss it so much!
