The source engine and cryengine do have binaural audio settings, if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, I really looked to the right with the knock on the door and to the left with the bark of the dog. Really nice job.

@Meteotrance Not possible. You can do the left and right, but not up and down artifically, at least not yet. However, if this so called 3D sound doesn't really capture forward and back, only left right and up down. It is true 2D sound, which sterio is not. Or are my headphones just broken? Every demo I've heard doesn't do the foward and back. Just gets quiter and louded. However, things behind you do sound behind you.

@architectus777 Microphones need to be embedded in an artificial ear canal in order for vertical and depth localization to be possible. It isn't good enough to place microphones in your ears or either side of a baffle.
