What album was this off of ? One of Chris's best collaborations ever. This really shows the roots and authenticity of where he comes from. Any commercial success he happened upon during the brief existence of DRB is so deserved. Granted, Glenn Frey would have done a nice job, but Hillman is a true founder of this genre. Excellent post. Thanks, KR
@keitheeweithee :This song is on their True Love album,They were together for eight years, starting in 1985 and disbanding in Feb.1994.They are currently doing a few re-union tours. You can find the dates and places on Chris Hillman's and Desert Rose Band's Web sites.
@keitheeweithee It was off the "True Love" release from 1991. John was on his way out of the band at the time, JayDee had just left, replaced by the late Tom Brumley.
Chris and the boys look and sound great on this one...co-written with Jack Tempchin, could easily have been sung by Glenn Frey, but Chris knocks him cold!
@JaysonsMom Tom loved this band probably most of all the bands he was in. Loved the guys too. I know because I'm Tom's wife. Thank you for your reply, Jayson.............
What about love? was their official music video in 1993,but I'm not really sure if it was their last one.
