BMW 545i Magnaflow exhaust

hey bro .. i have the same car about to put the same exhaust on .. theres a valve in the muffler for low end torque? i think ..and a rubber hose comes off it up into the bumper . i assume to a ecu or something. what did u do with that ? did u plug it ? did u get any fault codes ? thanks if u got time get back to me or if anyone else knows thanks !

@vincepoole Don't need to worry about the rubber hose. I just removed the rubber hose. No fault codes.

Can you list everything that was done to this exhaust? I have a 2005 545i and would like this sound without spending too much money. Did you just replace the stock muffler with the Magnaflow 14816 or did you have to do some other stuff?

BMW got uglier and uglier. LOL The only thing good about it now is the computer. But other than that, it's a piece of shit. Bet that won't run over 200k miles. LOL they turned into V8 American faggets. E30 for life.

@Subsw00fers dude if u have crappy negative oppinions of this car then keep it to yourself mostly everyone else on here likes the car and i bet you this would last 300k miles easily as i have 1 and the engine is smoother than any other car i have driven and is 5 years old and never broken down not once :)

Did you ever get the quad's like you said you planned to do? I have a 545i too and I'm looking to get the magnaflow quads but can only find it for a M5 and this shop claims that I have to move the battery compartment for that.

@BMWsnMMA I got the Cherry Bomb glasspack mufflers. Cats to Pipe to Cherry Bombs to the tips. Checkout my other videos. You can replace the resonator in the middle of the car with a Magnaflow muffler. Run 2 pipes to each side of the bumper. You don't have to touch the battery compartment.

It will fit, but it has to be welded. RPI has a muffler that has hp gain.  I believe that one can just bolt on.
