I know I could speak for a ton of Jazz and R&B musicians who would say that this album really affected them in their approach to music and songwriting. Gino and his brothers were so good in the studio and were such good song writers...the songs all stand up alone with no need for studio tricks or drum loops. I know the Brother to Brother album was pivotal to my musical development. I still love the album and Gino's voice.
