  • slpoppy cunts, heard then listened to...

  • no one an front on how the progresses into hardness..

  • born slippy 1995 / pearls girl xD

  • original ftw where goes old times ?

  • My favourite version. AMAZING.

  • it could be cool or whatever, but, absolutely NOT the same song. No lyrics, its just a bunch of loops.

  • It's not the original. this is off Funkydesertbreakbeatz, the orig

is still the first Darren Price version from the CD maxi-single ,there.

  • They should perform this and NUXX back to back in their entirety.

  • if this tune don't give you shivers through the body nothing will, top tune

  • Weird, I didnt know this was what the original was like

  • original?

Where did you get this one from?

  • This was the A side as I recall

  • Been looking for this for fucking ages, didn't know it was Underworld...Awesome!

  • this is the sound of your time running out!

  • Born Slippy and Born Slippy.NUXX are completely different tracks...they are in no way related other than they are both performed by the same artist.

  • @royorbitol you can hear some of the same drum loops, percussion and synth lines, but treated/effected very differently

  • Hello. Where can I find this version of Born slippy? Love it and I can't find it anywhere.

  • @Leojoris Search for JBO 45 CDS2. It's a B-side on it.

  • @crazyaejay cool! thank you!

  • @crazyaejay it was the a-side on the original single (S JB 029 CDS 01)

  • @royorbitol Have you heard any different versions of any Underworld tracks? Almost all of the different versions of their tracks sound completely different. Same with Fluke and their tracks.

  • @crazyaejay Yes, it happens with Dark & Long too. Damn good tracks.

  • @crazyaejay and most early chemical brothers remixes (For example the 'remix 1' and 'remix 2' of Life is Sweet are nothing like the originals. i can't see anything in them from the originals)

  • Great saw them the other night in Brixton. So much better than nux. Can't say much about the new stuff but the old stuff was great

  • Is it the best thing they ever did?

  • Big Thanks for uploading this one!!!!!

  • Love both versions. ^_^

  • Like most people who were able to find this: I like this soooo much better than the Nuxx version.

    Thanks for the upload!

  • @IrishRetroGamer Because "Born Slippy NUXX" never really rolled off the tongue, I'm guessing. Not many people are aware that it's a different version at all.

  • do they still play this original version live?

  • @thechapstick Yes, but like most of their tracks live, it sounds very different. I should upload it...

  • @thechapstick There. I uploaded it; Underworld - Born Slippy (Original 1995 Version Live).

  • @crazyaejay awesome! thanks mate

  • @thechapstick

Yes. Heard them annihilate the dance floor with the original @ Center Stage in Atlanta in '08. >:] Song takes you beyond...

  • @thechapstick They do, but it's become rare. Heard it live in Hamburg in February 2008, where it rounded off the entire set. Nice surprise after thinking it was all over with Jumbo ;)

  • @thechapstick yes, they played it in atlanta. i nearly shat my pants.

  • 10 times more exciting and intense than the NUXX mix

  • Far far better tune than the B-side Nuxx remix that everyone knows and to me the last great underworld track. I remember both being played at Tribal Gathering 96 and people going nuts over this track and the Nuxx remix being met with a "meh". But then came Trainspotting and everyone loved it...

Top draw tune and a guaranteed floor filler of the time and proud to still have this rarity in my record collection!

  • @fastcowskates Don't forget about Pearl's Girl! That's an amazing track that came out after Born Slippy.

  • Nice one for posting this track, its sooo good to hear the original again after the nuxx version is milked so much (still good tho) btw, telematic mix has no vocals in either, whatever miloskovalevsky was after it must have been released post trainspotting.

  • Thanks for posting this! I've been looking for this version of the song for years!

  • This truly is one of the best underground classics of all time.

  • Cool to hear this!

After listening to the original version of Children I wanted to know other original versions of great dancehits.

  • There is another version I'm looking for and I cannot find on YouTube. It has violin synth on break and bass guitar groove through all track. There is no singing but there are two vocals, one is a quotation "choose life...", and other one is lady's scream: "hardcore". If someone knows what is that version's extend name? I'll be pleased to know!

  • @miloskovalevsky I'm not quite sure, but it could be Born Slippy .TELEMATIC

  • yeahh, took me ages to find this Born Slippy, much prefer it to the Nuxx one, bangin tune, thanks mate :-)

  • @TheKontosuburbian

There's no vocals in the original version.

  • original and best

  • @cm1179

yes totally agree - nothing like the nuxx version tho

  • so... then you dont agree with him?

  • Divine!

  • this rocks like a beast.nice one for posting :-)

  • Jeez !!

The forgotten splendid original mix !

imo this version is way more better than the nuxx.

  • @Infra303

damn right it is, you dont imagine how angry id be everytime i thought id found it and it was...nuxx!!!

  • @MarkusAudio

Yeah I hear you, been there, done that.... a lots of times... :)

  • Thx for the original here, man!
