I would have liked to see cast two as Cebemars suggets the singing and acting was more convincing.
I cannot see how they can be so admired : the singing was tense in both major roles and the Alagna couple was far beyond emotion ! too old -fashioned for such daring characters !

Who stop you to see the second cast?! The purpose of cast listing is to give audience freedom to choose. I can't see the intention of your comment other then bashing Alagna couple. and the character Fanny did become a house-wife. I don't get your point.
Pour avoir vu les deux versions, la prestation de Sebastien Guedj et Karen Vourch pour les dernières représentations était bien plus intéressante que Alagna/Gheorghiu.
Tous les deux définitivement trop vieux pour les rôles.
Fanny est sensée avoir juste 18 ans, Marius 20.

Cela fait souffrir ... et sur scène ce n'était pas mieux hélas .
