  • So many good lines in this song, can't even choose one. Lil wayne can't hang

  • "all they could go get me is a glass a Moet" (n=gga WHAT??!!! Stop playin!!!)

  • One of the "BEST" Rap songs "EVER"!!! I don't hate the remix on the LP.....It just doesn't sound as goodl as this one. This is a "PERFECT" Rap song,You feeling Me? Holla.

  • I still don't understand why they tried to remix perfection. I've been looking for this version for years!

  • @deadrepublicantv I prefer this version too, but the remix is nice if you have a good sound system rolling through town.

  • WORD!

  • "Rakim Allah"

  • "pull up a chair.. and im a tear shit up... "

havent heard that un-edited in a long time. thanks for uploading

  • Yes this is the best New York radio 1986 version I was 20 yrs old chillin at Union Square!

  • This is not the version I have on Paid in Full. Awwww man. Now I got to download this since I don't have Turntables.

  • any chance of an upload of the original Zakia version of "Eric B is President" i cant seem to find it anywhere...

  • I HAVE LIVED, BECAUSE I WAS ALIVE WHEN THIS WAS NEW & i feel like i'm 8 yrs old again

  • Classic hip hop...takes me back to the old school house parties...40

ounces, fat joints, and hot girlies....lol.

  • The best version, the original! I hate the remix!

  • My days at James Monroe High School near Bronx River Projects 1986.

  • if they can only rerelease these vocals over the remix beat. damn.

  • THIS is the nice version of the cut!

  • WOW!!!!!! THANK YOU!!! I caught this 3am on tape off my brand new Lasonic box back in 86 so many folks never heard this version again thanks Classic Hip Hop at its best yall

  • @Beatzilla

For real. This is the jam man. I've been looking for this version for years.

  • @theungreatkahli This was the version I heard first back when I was in the 10th grade at James Monroe High School in The Bronx. Being that I'm a vinyl collector,I now have this in my 12" collection.

  • tell em. exactly. this song is one of the best! The second album IS definately a classic. and, I remember EXACTLY where I was when I first heard My Melody in 86. You HAVE to be kidding if you are going to even TRY to put Rodney O and Joe Cooley up against Rakim. (although, I do admit to having a guilty pleasure for Everlasting Bass).

  • The group had 4 albums and they were all great albums you must not know the truth kid. By the way the second album was good, it has some classics on it.

    Follow the leader

    Lyrics of Fury

    Microphone Fiend

one of the best albums in HIP HOP

  • Eric B. was the leader of the crew but soon after their second album which suck like the rest that fallow he just didn't had any more interest in keeping the crew so Rakim went solo. Paid in Full was the only album that kicked ass. There were more artist that rapped educated and so sounded clean and FRESH like Eazy B & DJ Los, Rodney O & Joe Cooly, TLA Rock and more....

  • This is the one, thanks for the post

  • Man! I've been looking for this since I left NY and lost my vinyl in '89! The original version!

  • nobody beats the R along with Marley Marl and Eric B!!

  • I'm still looking for mint Zakias.

  • Eric B brought a new style of rap to hip hop and changed the game as we know it. Truely one of the best lyricist we have with a flow like none other. No rapper has ever imitated him....

  • Rakim did that. Not Eric. B.

  • This is the original 12 inch single version. The LP version is remixed by Marley Marl.

  • Straight bomb classic!

    Nice upload!
