I liked the scene, it should have been included. I really felt sorry for him, no place to go and no one there for him. That can be a very lonely and difficult thing to deal with.
This one definitely should have been in the film! I made a fan video for Breakfast on Pluto, now I almost want to make another adding in the deleted scenes!
Well, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he wanted to stay because he wanted to fit in, as he didn't fit in anywhere. Also, he's homeless with nowhere to go and I suppose that would be a contributing factor.
I wish they hadn't deleted this scene. It would have added even more to that part of the film, and it's so well acted!
