automatics are faster with the correct stall converter... put a vigilante in the vette and watch him drop 4-5 tenths on his e.t. is your 08 the 430 HP vette?

That was my first run and I was feathering the launch too much. I dialed it in a little better the next track day:

12.22@116.7 2.0

12.37@119.0 2.1

12.32@118.8 2.1

Yeah a converter would help alot, not sure if I will go that route.

It was my first run in the vette and first ever RWD. I had to modulate the throttle quite a bit. It had a 160tstat and a K&N CAI. After 3 track days and a tune i ran 11.8@121 2.0 60'. After another 2 track days and some DRs, with the same power(402whp/400tq) it ran 11.6@120 1.89 60'

Its the 436hp auto with 2.73 gear option(stock is 2.56)
