Are those hogs good eating,or are they full of parasites?I'm curious because my uncle was a game keeper in Greece and he used to all teary remembering the boar hunting and the boar meat.Here in Australia most of my friends who hunt are very disparraging about feral pig meat.

@laiosto I don't know about Australia but here in the USA, at least my family, loves wild pig meat. If you shoot a young hog, or any sow, the meat is very good. We like it so much that we actually take our hogs to the same place we take our deer to be butchered. Give it a try and if you don't like it at least you helped with the hog infestation.

@austindv777 I think i will try a local Italian butcher who specializes in game meat.Years ago my dad went hunting for pigs and brought back some meat.I remember it was stinky.Whether it was the meat, or the10 hour drive in the hot boot of the car,but it wasn't pleasant,I remember finding the bullet and the bruised meat around the shot,yuck!!! If the Aussie pigs are good eating, then I will try making Greek sausages ,if not ,my dog will get a treat.
