hahaha, that reminds me of seamshovel harry. however in spelunky you at least don't have to watch 15 minutes of unskippable turtorial before you die XD

Trying to get a good time on this game is one of the more intense experience I've ever had with a game, maybe even more than the average Metroid speedrun.

it's a joke video, since most of the LPs of Spelunky involve lots and lots of deaths. BrightRoar's LP of spelunky didn't have any deaths. That's the joke.

Indeed. I found out later, though, that what happened there was actually a bug. You're not supposed to be able to carry the light with you into the opening stage.
