  • Thank you jbovinette!!!

  • Danny:

Is that road at Folkston Funnell now blocked all the time with the gate? When was that put up?

  • @tim4252003 No that was for a Festival that was going on that day.

  • Another excellent video Danny! These are the best on the 'Tube!

  • Great Video Danny! Next time your up in the area give me a shout. I was out and about those 2 days.

  • Great Vid. I really like the narrateion. It gives life to the overall presentation and make viewing enjoyable. Great catch with the fog. Somethin we rarley see in sunny South florida.Keep up the great work.

  • Glad to help, Danny. Although, I didn't expect you to pull the video as a result. I guess you're somewhat of a perfectionist as I am. --- I hate getting my facts wrong too.

  • Yeah, I did about half an hour's research on that plant and learned quite a bit.

Didn't know about the steam service or how many other cogen plants there are in Florida.

    DH

  • I had forgotten about the steam fact. That's an interesting tidbit as well. ;-)

FPL's Martin Power Generation Plant, three miles east of the cogen plant, has been falsely rumored to be nuke plant for years. It is fueled by bunker oil which is stored in huge above ground tanks located at I-95 and the Beeline. The fuel oil travels through a 34 mile long pipeline to the plant. Tankers offload the fuel oil at Port of Palm Beach.

  • Awesome package, Danny! Yeah, I gotta hand it to Ted for his help.

  • Well done Danny! Credit to Ted for the correction regarding the Indiantown coal trains.

  • Ha! I caught that Q652! I believe it was the longest train i've seen yet, 136 cars.

  • Another great video. We have a couple of those draw spans here as well though not as small. One on the CSX crossing the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, NC the other on the Carolina Southern crossing the Intercoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach, SC

  • The drawbridge in Myrtle Beach is rarely used anymore because down there that part of the line is only used for storage.

  • Another Great video Danny

  • I see you get all the CSX action downt here lol, the CSX Keystone and Pittsburgh Subdivisions that runs from Cumberland, Maryland to New Castle, Pa does not have many trains due to all the curfews and the economy. Some trains get canceled often and some even have been taken off CSX's timetable. Besides that.....great video Danny and keep up the great work!
