There ok for learning on, very bouyant and sturdy. I borrowed this off a friend for a while untill i could afford one with the glass on. I found the Foamie a fun board very easy to surf and with the spring and bend that they have, i found it great to do fun turns on. Lets say a different riding style to a glassed board that has no spring in it... good luck learning

the music makes it super peaceful lol. are foamies just as good as a surfboard with the fiber material on it?

oh ok thank you i might get a 6' foamie in a couple weeks and go surfing in galveston texas. those waves in the vid look perfect for me
