  • Jim... I was here just a few months ago seeking this one. I have the 50th Golden Anniversary album and find the song on many of my playlists...just in case. Thank you SO much for posting one of my all time FF favorites. I cry now each time I hear one of the the last lines -- "...how terribly strange to be 70..." Then I think that only Ross is left...for me, anyway. I'm still mourning the loss of "the big, tall, ugly one..." my dearest Bob Flanigan. Again, thank you.

  • @woodlark391 You are very welcome. I have purchased everything I can get my hands on from these guys. Their harmony style is just amazing, I think. I was a Beach Boys fan first and once I read how Brian Wilson was inspired by their vocals I started checking out some of their songs. Needless to say I am now a big fan of theirs too. Thanks so much for listening.

  • @woodlark391 ...Sad news, Jim. Ross Barbour died at home is Simi Valley, CA on 20 August 2011. Just three months after Bob Flanagan left us. I didn't think the tears would flow as they are even now. Old Friends...how appropriate to these special men. Ross Barbour was 82.

  • This is such a beautiful song. Lovely version...great photos to go with it, as always. Thanks Jim.

  • @aplacetohideaway You are very welcome, Sharron. I just love the harmony from these guys! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
