@wwwzenwww i'm being serious. of all the genres to say that about, it's dubstep, whose songs tend to have no lyrics, message, or melody? perhaps "pathetic" was a bit harsh, but I'm not trolling.
@Charred05 Psht, there are plenty of other instrumental genres that are much more complex musically and that have more of a window for the audience to "make their own message", so it's not special in that respect at all. It's only the next in a long line of "rebellious" noise genres. I'm not meaning to say there isn't artistic "dubstep", but the majority isn't anything more than a formulaic fad. If nothing else, the comments section for dubstep videos aren't exactly full of meaning, sorry.
