After watching some cloud-painting-tutorials I got depressed by how difficult it was, but watching this gets my mood back! :D Everything seems fun again. I wonder if it's because the beautiful and playful colors it had in the painting, or the song, or both :D

Your color combinations are fantastic, I always enjoy seeing the process of painting over the actual painting itself lol. I think it's because I find myself lost in figuring out what colors mix well and how do I build the painting so it feels real to me.

do you show or teach how to mix (whatever drying medium) with your oils? Is your canvas oil for example with a Bob Ross medium?

@Internetmuse1 No Bob Ross magic here! Just old fashioned, mix on the palette oil paints, thinner and sometimes I use a little liquin brand fast drying alkyd as a medium. Hope that helps

Hi, Thanks for the nice comments. Yeah, I know it ain't a formal lesson but if you'd like to come by the studio you're welcome...Tucson, AZ. Oil paints with about 10 tube colors various makes...alkyd fast drying medium.

You look so truly happy, one could almost climb into the painting, I love singing along to music whilst i paint and my work is the better for it, losing self in the piece of work and sometimes having to be remind to eat.
