Read "Between Good & Evil," by Roger L. Depue, the man who pioneered criminal profiling for the FBI. What a book! But at times hard to read because of the cases he had to deal with. If you are interested in this field, then read Roger's book. Here is a man who was chief of police in a Michigan town at the age of 27. You can catch an interview with him earlier this year on Charlie Rose here on YouTube. He also founded the Academy Group in Virginia which trains law enforcement in profliling.
@daud111, I might agree with you, but he only stutters once, and everyone messes up once in a while with their speech. If he stuttered all the time, it could show that he is nervous.
He isn't comfortable with what he's saying since he stutters at 0:06 so he's having doubts. Or that he may not be a profiler. I also dont see the point that they showed guns and weapons to prove that they're profilers bcause it has got nothing to do with it
@SQUIZZLESTICK No my Dad is he used to work for the MI5 but now works for Scotland yard. You pick up certain things and one thing you definitely is learn how to lie. I couldn't lie to my dad until I was 17.
@daud111 thats not always true it all depends on the agency and wat type of background.... he has another thing he is prob nervous of being in front of the camera and its not even the tv shows we watch has one take one shot all in one day each episode takes 2weeks
@yellowrose011 u dont understand that just coz someone "fits" the profile does not mean it was them profiling just gives the cops an IDEA of who to look for and let the cops do the rest
well they didn,t have any in arkansas,,cause they put 3 innonence boy in jail for the murder of 3 boys, now the dna clears all 3 men,but they won,t let them go home why
@Goothieguth You are actually lucky to be in England if you want to be a Profiler. The University of Liverpool has Offender Profiling (That's the real name) as part of it's School of Psychology. And one of it's heads is David Canter a true pioneer in Offender Profiling. England's profiling is actually better than the one in the US. Profiling in the US Outside of the FBI's BAU, is very shaky because they take anyone with some expirience in the field and not necessarily experts like in England.
@JETemplar :D Thanks for the info. I decided what i going to do now ;D.. I taking socialgy/psychology/biology at A levels and then im going to take a degree in psychology with the acredited award and then become a forensic psycholgist :)
