The new organ is nothing compared to the old one. Its digital, the old one was acoustic ads gave a bigger, better and louder sound.

THe old stadium was better as well, put it this way, most old things are better, lol

I think Blackwell has a better voice than Messmer (again Wayne did get shot in the throat...), but it doesn't mean a thing if the crowd doesn't get behind him.

i just love how at the UC or back in the day at the stadium, everyone starts cheering about half way threw the anthem,,, you do that in another city,, everyone looks at ya like ur crazy! only get away with it at hawks and sox games.

Anybody remember Jim Bowers singing the national anthem at the old Met Center for North Stars games? I used to go to a lot of North Stars games when I was young, and I always got goose bumps listening to Jim Bowers rendition.

Myself and my girlfriend have been visiting Chicago every christmas for six years from England to watch the hawks and i have to say its absolutely awesome! The shivers you get from the anthem is an experience to behold! Chicago and the hawks rock.
