I grew up listening to Ken's music and I am very proud to say this great Canadian legend will be performing on my stage at Stayner's Wharf Pub & Grill on the Halifax, NS Waterfront on Wednesday October 5, 2011.
I Just Want to Make Music, Give a Little Love and of course Every Bit of Love were instant classics and will live on forever and I can't wait to see him live. Coming soon to Stayner's Wharf. If you are reading this after October 5th...you really missed a great show...
awesome "almost forgotten"oldie I was almost asleep the other evening, and this song was played on the radio station that was on, and it woke right up ! Awesome!!
From the first time i heard this song it brought tears to my eyes cause it's a very beautiful song. It makes me wonna fall in love all over again. I love oldies like this!!! They should play music like this all the time.
I was driving down the highway yesterday and this song came over the radio. I hadn't heard it for about 3 decades but was suprised that I could still remember the singers name - Ken Tobias. The song kicked round my head all day and night, when I got up this morning it was still there, so I did a search and found your vid. Many thanks. Great song. Didn't realize he was Canadian. Another classic canuck tune with out a doubt.
Such a great song! Such a great, great singer and songwriter. A terrific Canadian talent. Always loved Ken Tobias. Wish he was still being played on the radio on a regular basis, not just once in a blue moon.
This is available on CD for everyone's information. I have a copy. Ken Tobias' Every Bit Of Love CD or also on his greatest hits called-Ken Tobias Collection.
I have never heard this song for many years and it brings me back to when music made you feel good, made you think, made sense too, unlike the stuff being spewed out now.I ran a radio station for years and loved all the old tunes and still do.thank you for your postings, keep up the good work eh
I LOVE this song, it just popped into my head yesterday and I had to do a Google search for the part of the lyrics I remembered which was "I came from Cincinnati with a pocket full trouble and some memories" Thank you I have added to my play list. I did not know he was Canadian.
Liked it so much had to try a cover of it. When I read up on Tobias, it mentioned that he was on Singalong Jubilee. I had forgotten all about that. The days when we had 2 English channels and 1 french one.
He is playing at local tavern in Halifax sometime in November!

Even though it says it was released in 1975, this song has the energy of 1979... a song before its time.
I remember playing along with this song on the radio on my cheap organ keyboard.
